The food experience of Alcatraz emphasises a relaxed and social approach, synonymous with the lively town plazas and Tapas bars of Spain. In developing our Tapas
offering we looked to transgenerational recipes for familiar Spanish staples like our ‘Mi Chorizon’ or sherry baked chorizo, but also took inspiration from other family
heritage, like our reimagining of the original Patatas Bravas, now as a crispy Cassava based dish, taking root from west african influence.
Complementing our range of house classics, is the first of our Concept cocktails menus, taking inspiration of flavour profile, and impression from the otherworldly
botanicals woven through the Alcatraz architecture. Following suit in exploring the traditional and contemporary, is a unique list of Spanish imported wines and beers,
balanced off by a well curated offering of local labels.
